This mix is a deep, moody, proggy tech house journey. It's light on vocals, but the ones that are included are dark and mysterious. There's the odd flash of melody, and the occasional flecks of Balearic guitar to add a bit of light to the darkness. There's some typical driving tech from the likes of Hot Since 82, ARTBAT and Booka Shade. The highlight for me is another incredible, propulsive production from Heart2Soul Inc. which samples Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator". This political satire comedy-drama was released in 1940 and sadly a lot of the speech sampled resonates with the current climate. On a lighter note, the mix ends with a wonderful bit of undefinable jazzy piano house from the brilliant Berlin based Korean artist Peggy Gou.
